Want to become an author?

 

Would you like to share your knowledge of law and tech in a blog? Do you know how to keep a reader invested? Are you creative and able to write an accessible, but legally correct article? 

 

Do you want to put your acquired legal knowledge into practice and show yourself in a creative way? Look no further! For this news blog, affiliated with the master Internet, intellectual property and ICT at the VU and in collaboration with study association Digi Juridica, we are looking for five enthusiastic students who like to write news blogs about current events within the jurisdictions of this master.

Become an author at TechnologIE, privacy en recht! For this newsblog we are looking for new students who are interested in writing newsblogs about recent developments within the field of technology, intellectual property, privacy and law. This year we are looking for both Dutch and international students!

 

When you become an author, you will write a monthly article on a chosen subject within your expertise. We work with a strict schedule. By becoming an author, you are able to improve your writing skills and learn how to work within a team, where communication and deadlines are important. This is a great way to show employers that you are a good writer who is capable of conducting research and working with others.

 

What we are looking for

- you are an enthusiastic student who follows the master Internet, intellectuele eigendom en ICT or International Technology Law at the VU;

- you have good writing skills; and

- you are willing to write a monthly piece (ca. 500 - 1000 words)

 

What we offer

- Participation in a fun project, developing your legal writing skills with a select group of students; and

- Masterclasses on legal content writing by affiliated professors or professionals in the field.

In principle, we only hire new authors in February and October. If you are very enthusiastic and would like to contribute to the news blog, please apply! Then we can discuss the possibilities.
